Either, by waiting for the OTA, (Over the Air), update from OnePlus or using Oxygen Updater from the Play store.

@ironass have you made the jump to stable or keeping on beta hoping for beta 2? I'm still OB 1 but feeling drawn to going stable again.

@ironass can you give a clarity about updating thorough the oxygen updater vs OTA.. heard that doing through oxygen updater is not a good idea... so do you suggest that I roll back over the the previous version and then wait for the latest update?

I always use the Oxygen Updater. The only thing different for me, is that there is no written changelog... like the one in the first post of this thread. No big deals. My advice is that if you have any doubts just wait for the OTA.

I already updated mine through the oxygen updater.. I read somewhere that oxygen updater might have additional stuff that was not meant to be there..

and one more thing did you get an additional app called *** files in the app drawer ?

Already seen some posts, earlier in the thread, from some Nigerians. Just sit tight and wait or use the Oxygen Updater

The notificatuon bar goes full black and nothing can be seen on some apps. This app is one of them. I think this haplens when notch is hidden.

Yeah! I read lots of stupid things on this thread from idiots. The OxygenOS on Oxygen Updater is the same as OnePlus. I received, "Files", and, "File Manager", in Open Beta 1.

They both offer slightly different features and presentation and offer users a choice.

Yes, same experience. Used Oxygen Updater, use local, no change log. But, with all these complaints, I'll wait to update my OP6 with regular Update. Willing to wait, since no big change. Already have mostly Dark Mode via Developer Mode.
