    Hello OnePlus
i use a 6T McLaren Edition and after the recent update to OS 10 the clock on my main screen is running a different time than the one in the status bar. After restart it reverts back though. Anybody else facing a similar issue?

OnePlus promised software updates for 2 years... Oneplus 5 and 5t already completed 2 years and they have already given two major software updates for them, third one is coming soon...

I have begun to think that the update is a fake information given out by the OnePlus just to keep the OnePlus 6/6t users excited about the new android update!!!

The first line of the article you linked to says
"The Chinese maker hasn’t said anything about Android 10, so it is safe to assume the new user interface is not changing the the OS the phones are on" - meaning they are just updating the UI over Android 9

OnePlus are one of the fastest companies to get these updates out. Google can get them out same day for Pixel as they own the hardware and software in that situation, the other example of this is Apple and iOS. Other OEMs like to wait for the full release of Android before releasing their own variant - this is a very common thing in the Android world.

The OnePlus 5 is a 2.5 year old device. Yes, you have to wait to get the updates, but at least you're getting it. Samsung would've written the device off completely. Aging hardware is tougher to get working with new Android versions as they are geared towards the latest components. OnePlus need to put a lot of work into the software to get it running smoothly on old devices.

Android 10 for OnePlus 6 series is not a myth. Many many users have it (myself included).
I personally installed mine through Oxygen Updater (as I assume a majority of others did)

It is out there, just not through OTA it seems

Look at Google pixel released with Android 7 & it was also promised 2 years of update but it got updated to Android q on the same day of release.

Oneplus promises 2 years of update considering the OnePlus T varient.

    WARNING!
Using that video guide and files will wipe your phone and downgrade you to Android 9... OPEN BETA TEST FIRMWARE and not stock, stable, OxygenOS for Android 9. You will no longer receive stock OTA updates on Open Beta. You will need to do a further flash to either stock Android 9 or 10 to get back to stable firmware.

    Just a heads up. ;)
