Hey guys, I just updated my OnePlus 6 to Android 10 via oxygen updater because I was tired of waiting. I took some time reading all the posts in this thread and I want to tell you:

    1. before I updated, I cleared the cache via recovery, as some say that it is better to do it when switching android versions. I will clear the cache once more after I'm done writing this post, just to be sure (maybe even factory reset)
    2. I could even update the Android System WebView many of you reported you can't do so.
    3. Yes, the keyboard bug is here, but that's Google who decided.
    4. Phone runs smoothly, at the beginning give it a minute or two to fully set up and perform all the necessary processes after the reboot.
    5. Shelf scrolling works for me, many of you reported you can't do so.
    6. Hidden space in the launcher is easily accessible just like before.
    7. I didn't lose any data switching from stable Pie to stable 10.
    8. Gestures work smoothly for me, even multitasking and switching between recent apps.
    9. So far no reboots, no WiFi drops.
    10. No issues with Google play system update. However, Google system update says "290000000". When I open it, everything seems normal though, security patch level 1 October 2019.
    11. Display doesn't show any signs of tinting. Using vivid mode.

If you guys have any questions, do not hesitate to write me a message.

    Good luck with Android 10.

I have exactly the same experience, This update is perfect! Couldn't be happier. Except for your first step as I am rooted so just flashed the latest blu-spark and twrp retention script and all went well. Can't say any of these complaints are legitimately anything less than user error or sketchy because of corrupt downloads.

Yes, just the cache, then download the update using Oxygen updater and voilà.
