Optimize your apps again. After update, they all got switched to smart optimization, which as it turns out, isn't very smart at all.

Battery life is much worse now than in pie. Hope OnePlus can fix this in the next update... Drains 10-20% more...

    that's very true,
Don't update ur phone untill u want to play around.
I manually updated my OnePlus 6T,
    trust me it's so frustrating.
am planning to roll back to stable android pie.
not gonna use android 10 untill Jan 2020
Hoping that OnePlus team will fix all bugs by then.
Fixing bugs take time, it's acceptable.
what's not acceptable is that they have rolled out the update as stable with so many Bugs. they should have still been in Beta stage untill they are bug free... atleast major bugs....
Anyways let's wait untill we get a Truly Stable version.

I think Google still hasn't patched the bug regarding Private DNS. I just woke up and noticed my phone (OP 6) was in a bootloop. I was able to shut it off and turn it back on again with it booting successfully. I just took a full bug report and I'm going to try and determine in the logs where exactly things went wrong.

    Notch hiding is available
Download an app called Activity Launcher and in it search for "notch". It will open OnePlus' notch settings

Android 10 OTA is still being rolled out, but there's a chance it'll be de-prirotised while they prepare update 10.0.1 which will fix many of the problems people are facing in this forum. It's best to wait for that to be released. It will still upgrade you from Android 9 to 10.

if you want the current update then download an app called "Oxygen Updater" from the play store and do a full update. Remember to clear phone cache in recovery to get the best experience
