Turn phone off. Hold Power + Vol Down until you see OnePlus logo => This is recovery mode
Go to the wipe menu, then wipe cache

Wiping the cache is a good place to start if you are having some problems, as long as you only wipe the cache, there will be no data loss

Android 10 OTA is still technically still being rolled out, but there's been no word of the broader rollout. It's most likely been paused while they prepare update 10.0.1/10.1 which will fix many of the problems people are facing in this forum. It's best to wait for that to be released. It will still upgrade you from Android 9 to 10.

If you want the current update then download an app called "Oxygen Updater" from the play store and do a full update. Remember to clear phone cache in recovery to get the best experience

Spot on. OnePlus should close/delete this thread as they are working on a new biuld that is not rolled out yet and they updated OP6/6T users about this new build through a weekly thread, not through this thread.

This is a design decision from Google to make the keyboard more comfortable to use in Android 10, not a OnePlus issue. Give it time to get used to it.
There are adb commands that can remove it, but it skews other UI elements like the media volume bar, etc.
