I needed to downgrade from 10.0.1 because device was not certified and Google Pay didn't work.

new build understood, but what my point is dont make a news to make someone wait for it. if you had a OS full of bugs why to tell the people the they are rolling out a new version. just dont make someone wait.

I guess you have not read the latest update from OnePlus in @B_Wrath's stickied post at the beginning of this thread or the Weekly Update in Announcements.

dude why dont you understand my point. you dont tell someone that its ready until its totally checked first. and if you are working for your high end first that means you are not concerned about your other customers. if they are complaining then you should answer them. we are just asking for a date. if you dont have then just dont talk dude.

I see what you are trying to say now, I think. You believe that OnePlus should not have begun the limited test roll-out on the 1st November and instead have made users wait for the next, forthcoming, release. No-one on this forum can offer you a definitive answer as to the next stable OxygenOS Android 10 roll-out as this is a user forum with no OnePlus staff present. Since this is an open, public, forum, you also cannot order me to, "just dont talk dude". :D

perfect, that's the point I was also trying to make......... I give the bet that they don't follow TTD. Integration testing is lacking..... system test doesn't exists xD

Do not update, wait for the new build !

I actually tried this update 2 times, same issues

5 GHz wi-fi networks are not showing, this means the update only working with 2.4 GHz ( for me, it's bad for gaming )

There is a gap between bottom of keyboard and the bottom of phone screen, which will mess with your muscle's memory

Rooting the device is not favorable as android 9

Now I'm waiting for the new build, enjoying OOS 9.0.17 really

Flashing a custom TWRP recovery without encryption + rooting with Magisk are now identical to Android 9 on the 6T. Admittedly, if you do not want or use the custom recovery to install your root, you will need a patched boot image version with Magisk until its dev's find a way around it.

See mauronofrio's thread over on the xda developers forum...

Gap is a design feature, nothing to do with Oneplus, blame Google.

Root issues for 10 is an android wide issue, again blame Google, not a Oneplus issue.

5ghz network showing fine on my 6T, may need to adjust a setting to suit Android 10,depending on your network router.

    Guide OP6T root.

oxygen is 10 works approximately fine for 2 days: experienced overheating once during Android auto mode with Waze and Deezer operating.
Another issue in photo mode, blackout screen in photo app after shooting, needed to reboot.
no other issue like WiFi etc...
    wait and seen.
