Wiping is not necessary after installation of a new version, only a cache partition wipe.
Wiping is best left for after visiting the toilet

Ok! after being through many comments here about the bugs I'm mentioning some already mentioned and few new maybe.

First of all the laggy and choppy feeling which no one is used to from previous updates from one plus. Personally I didn't like it at all. Feels bad how one plus is marketing to make us buy new models which technically aren't considerable faster at all.

Secondly the freezes, sometimes when I try to pull notification bar it just freezes there while blocking the visibility of screen although I can still use the bottom screen and everything works but it's behind that notification panel. I've to lock the screen and then resume doing stuff I was doing which is annoying at busy times.

Next, the battery life is what I think reduced and I think it's just the software degrade as the battery is in excellent condition originally. Drains even in ideal state I get about 4hrs 35min screen on time but not really it's just that my apps are using it at background when my device is ideal.

Else everything seems fine to me just other improvements which will be like if they would make the Android 10 gestures for going back, only on one side of the screen which is comfortable for user would be nice as most of the time on some apps including Google play store we have to swipe from left to access different menus and if it's same for back just doesn't make sense. Anyway I am used to OnePlus gestures so no big deal.
Then the huge space at bottom of keyboard (gBoard) can be done through software update from Google too maybe.

Mainly the one I forgot is colour calibration settings have been refreshed I kinda liked it and hated it for reasons like many choices to choose from which is really nice now a vivid mode nice again. other modes are in advanced options and have tweaks to make it more cooler or warm nice. but really was it needed?

Lastly what I liked was they made a game I absolutely love to play in a full screen mode default which is ClashRoyale I wanted it for so long. Then the video enhancement option it is amazing I was just blown away by that new thing.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend someone to go 10 yet, just wait for more improvement to come. OR you can always go for a custom ROM which will be much of bug free than this.

    Cheers!
Thankyou for making it this far.

Who have bugs with this Android?
In some Facebook Groups of OnePlus Portugal some phones (OP 6 & 6T) are reebot alone!
My OnePlus 6 reboot one time too.
The camera app stop work. I have to close and restart again.
    New update is needed.

Some 650+ pages of mostly "where is update?!", it's beautiful.

I'll post what's already been posted as well:
    1. Update for OP6 is on hold while they make a less buggy version.

    2. They don't know when it will be done, there's currently no timeframe for release. My money is sometime this year at the very least.

    3. If you must, You can flash what they've rolled out using Oxygen Updater. Be warned that build has issues, do so at your own peril, no one but yourself is responsible if your phone goes belly up.

Any word on a patch for randomly bricking on the 6T? Happens twice a week and will either reboot or cycle and you need to do a power boot.

Be it a custom ROM or a Stock ROM, same principles applies. Each user has different combination of apps installed...if you don't have issues then great, but if there are issues, then clear cache, if that still throws issues then do a factory reset. This gives you a clean slate to observe for any ACTUAL issues to report back on which is much more useful to people here to offer any help.

If people are reporting issues and it's caused by a particular app, you can't expect OnePlus to replicate and fix the issue in the most efficient way possible.

The main reason people are so against a factory reset is because the loss of data and it's a pain to get everything setup again. But lots of apps do offer some form of backup so I suggest a regular backup routine or switch to apps that has the ability to backup data. Data is so important these days to each of us, stop being lazy and treat it with more respect!
