Any word on a patch for randomly bricking on the 6T? Happens twice a week and will either reboot or cycle and you need to do a power boot.

Be it a custom ROM or a Stock ROM, same principles applies. Each user has different combination of apps installed...if you don't have issues then great, but if there are issues, then clear cache, if that still throws issues then do a factory reset. This gives you a clean slate to observe for any ACTUAL issues to report back on which is much more useful to people here to offer any help.

If people are reporting issues and it's caused by a particular app, you can't expect OnePlus to replicate and fix the issue in the most efficient way possible.

The main reason people are so against a factory reset is because the loss of data and it's a pain to get everything setup again. But lots of apps do offer some form of backup so I suggest a regular backup routine or switch to apps that has the ability to backup data. Data is so important these days to each of us, stop being lazy and treat it with more respect!

One plus team lost FAN trust. Before rollout stable version without testing push at least 2 to 4 beta version like apple than suggestions/Feedback taken from user . They are in hurry & all One + 6 & 6T user taken Pain. this is not fair .If one plus rollout this package as beta 2 than no One plus user disappointing .
AS per latest News Apple take on OnePlus

OnePlus has been a key player in the premium smartphone segment in the country since past few quarters. With some reports terming the company a leader in the segment, other at second position. However, as per the recent IDC report (Q3), the company has been upstaged by Apple. The iPhone maker now leads the $500 or Rs 35,000-plus segment in India. Here's a look at some factors that may make Apple a 'big' worry for OnePlus in India:

As per the latest report from research company IDC, Apple leads the premium segment ($500+) in India, which is approximately Rs 35,000-plus. With three of the new OnePlus smartphones launched this year (OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7 Pro) priced above Rs 36,000, the company surely seems to be facing tough competition from Apple
