Yes, it is, but when you buy a Samsung you know that it has the slowest updates, it is more expensive, but it has a better screen, better camera, and better battery.

That is why it cannot be compared only when it matters, to excuse the bad work of oneplus.

Guys, could you please just chill!??

You will get the update when it's ready! What's the point of all these posts? They're working on it. Things take time. Things need testing.

Or do you want a buggy build? Then you would complain about that again! You always have something to complain about...

There is a pretty stable build of OxygenOS for the 6T out there. Why don't you just get that one? I have it as my daily driver and experience barely any issues.

You can also just get LineageOS and have daily updates, if you so desperately need them...

    Calm down...

Hey fan boy they realsed usable beta for S9 which is 8 month older than 6t where is OnePlus usable beta ?
Stop being fanboy and compare one plus with samsung according to your convenience!
They don't have tagline Never settle and they never promished it so next come out with some facts dude !
We are consumers not a Fanboy so stop defending one plus by comparing it with samsung !
Do you know how many phones they support , ?
According to your post it's more than dozen and one plus have just 4…

I'll save you the trouble of doing a search:

"Beta software refers to computer software that is undergoing testing and has not yet been officially released. "

    https://techterms.com/definition/beta_software

No fanboy here - just a realistic perspective about delivery of software...

When folks stop complaining about "how long it takes" - last I checked there is no SLA (service-level agreement) for delivery of software by a specific date.

Off Topic, But can someone help me from how to stop YouTube app from using the full display mode with notch on my OnePlus 6 as the app is not showing up in the settings as seen in the attached screenshot.
PS- I love the full screen mode but I just want to see what it looks like in 18:9.

Pinch-to-zoom. It'll fill in the black bars by zooming the video ever so slightly and isn't much of a change.

You mean zoom out? I tried but it doesn't look as good as the actual 18:9 and idk why OnePlus or the developer removed the app from that section and other way around to get back that option? and thanks for the reply buddy :)

Nope, zoom in. YouTube only works in 16:9 by default. 18:9 requires zooming, much like how "overscan" works on a PC monitor.
