strange because this is certainly newer THAN what you have. I am on a 6 so it's hard for me to say. I would say wait a day or two. seemS some 6t'S are getting it on OTA. GOOD LUCK. I still say Pie is fine.

    like OnePlus 7T has.

    so top of this forum
suggest that u have to downgrade to pie to download stable version of A10, if u r in beta version.

nd in oxygen updater there is suggation that u have factory reset ur device to download this stable version!

    I'm so confused [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]😅😅😅

shouldn't be. your beta is older than the new stable 10.1. you should be able to update straight without losing data.

will try to save everything. WhatsApp chats etc. factory reset isn't soooo painful. not sure why you need to do it, but that said, I recently did it. you could also wait. but if you are on Beta then you will one day have to change to stable. because if you are on Beta, you won't receive the full stable update. my advice it that if you aren't comfortable messing around with this, stick on the stable software. Pie, the previous software, is perfectly fine.

    BUMMER!

Bad news for those on Open Beta 2

The new official OxygenOS update, 10.0.1, has a build date of... 191114

This is an earlier build date than Open Beta 2... 191120

I have a feeling that this could cause issues for anyone wishing to switch from Open Beta 2 to OxygenOS 10.0.1

Looks like it could be a full wipe job with either roll-back firmware or the MSMDownloadTool for the...

    OnePlus 6T MSMDownloadTool

    OnePlus 6 MSMDownloadTool

Luckily, all our Open Beta testers are competent and experienced users.

This below post is the reason. The beta will mostly be a newer build than the stable. Hence, going back to stable from beta will require you to use the rollback package, which in itself constitutes a data wipe.
