Already you are in 10.3.5, also it will show the update as same version until you get the next version(i.e.,10.3.6). It's not a big issue. Just leave it my friend.

    Hi People

    1. Today I received my new phone OP6 . After a few times unlocking your finger, came down this paint from this reader so little and you can see the white material underneath it. Anyone had such a problem?

2.My second problem is I wanted to upgrade to the latest version but I can not . I downloaded versions 10.3.5 to the computer, switched to the phone and shows that the update failed. My version is: ONEPLUS A6000, OXYGEN OS 5.1.5. Can you help me? I live in the UK and ordered my phone from China. Does it matter that I bought it from China?

If you have a OnePlus 6 you need to download and install OOS 9.0.9 as this contains files to allow you to update to Android 10.

Download 9.0.9 for OnePlus 6 from link below.
    https://oneplusupdates.com/device/oneplus-6

Then choose your model of phone in the list in the link below and download and install the Android 10.3.5 file, follow the instructions given on the OnePlus Software Support page, link below.

That same instructions apply on the OnePlus update website for 9.0.9 as for 10.3.5. You don't open the file. Check the instructions I gave taken from the OnePlus support website.

Place the file into the root main storage of the phone, then follow the steps below.

After the .zip file is downloaded to your phone, go to 'Settings' - 'system update', click the 'settings' icon on the top right corner, choose 'Local upgrade', find the .zip file and click on 'Install' to confirm. The update takes about a minute (depending upon the file size), once done reboot your device to boot into the latest Oxygen OS.

Try it this way, the last version of OOS 5 for the OnePlus 6 is 5.1.11, you may need to update to that first, use the same link in my post above where you downloaded 9.0.9 scroll down a bit and you will see the last OOS 5 as per the image below.

If that installs, then update to 9.0.9 and once that installs, then follow the steps for 10.3.5.

It does mean 3 full installs to get to 10.3.5, buts it's via the last OOS update for each version.

If you are OnePlus 6T you need to download and install OOS 9.0.17 as this contains files to allow you to update to Android 10.

Download 9.0.17 for OnePlus 6T from link below.

After the .zip file is downloaded to your phone, move the file from the folder you downloaded to, to your Main Storage.

Then go to 'Settings' - 'system update', click the 'settings' icon on the top right corner, choose 'Local upgrade', find the .zip file and click on 'Install' to confirm. The update takes about a minute (depending upon the file size), once done reboot your device to boot into the latest Oxygen OS.

Thanks I'll try that I didn't know where to find previous releases. Just the current one.

Is there some reason my phone says it's up to date or I never got an OTA update after 9.0.14?

How big a risk is data loss doing these local updates? Should I really back up my data?

You shouldn't lose anything, however you will be doing one update on top of another, so it's always recommended to backup before updating.
