Open beta is a separate channel. As long as u r in open beta u will receive consecutive updates that is specific to open beta. U will not get official OTA when you are in open beta

As it's mentioned in every Beta thread,

Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (full wipe of all data and cache).

Getting back to Stable will always require data wipe, but you can use OnePlus Switch. Still, if your concern is only being up to date in terms of features, Open Beta is usually always ahead of stable updates.

After upgrading, feeling good for icon packs, themes and etc... Found one Issue that navigation between recent apps become difficult at some extent which was extra smooth in previous version.

Yet haven't focused much on the camera... Will check soon.

    Thanks in advance

As the original post states, This OTA will have a staged rollout. The OTA will be received by a limited number of users today and will have a broader rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs.

This is a common practice for OTA software updates. Most Android manufacturers do this as well as Microsoft with Windows. There's probably other examples I'm not aware of.

This is to avoid that any unforeseen issues that only affect small subsets of users get widespread. Some issues have such low ocurrence rates that cannot be detected through Beta testing.

Just an additional thing. Sometime in the future, it may come a day where Open Beta program stops and you won't get any additional updates and you'll have to move back to stock software to keep getting updates. For past devices, this has happened when 2 new generations of devices are on the market (3 and 3T stopped getting beta updates when the 6 was released).

When that day comes, you can easily copy everything with OnePlus Switch and then restore all data. ;)

    Hi,

For some weird reason my clock in status bar stuck at "6:31" AM and didn't reflect with correct time eventhough in settings I could everything is set correctly.

Is this a glitch? or do I have to reset my device to fix this? I'm currently running Android 10. Can someone help me with this please!

Download size. Incremental is just the needed update over the previous one. Full is, well, the full update.
