there only seems to be one for the pro, but I'm worried it could be the wrong region, usually there is like a US version, Chinese version, EU version?

AA is the International. BA is EU version. Usually the best to use the one made for your region.

what's the difference between international and Europe I wonder and if have thought international must be slightly larger to cope with more networks.

To clear the confusion, i shall update my post again:

There are different Build Tags: like below for the 7 Pro
    GM21AA: GM1911: India & GM1917: Global/US Unlocked
    GM21BA: GM1913: EU
    GM27BA: GM1920: EU 5G
    GM31CB: GM1915: T-Mobile (Carrier Locked)

BA is basically just some minor adjustments to the EU laws. I guess 10 EU build still is missing the equalizer, have some volume limitations, possible missing digital wellbeing (not sure). You might loose out on some carrier specific stuff that only pops up in AA or BA if on wrong firmware.

I'm on Beta and there is only one version there (International). No issues despite being EU user.

That is really helpful thanks, I did think there might be a specific region and even though I've been guided the right way it seems.

it's nice to see it clearly, thanks again :)

Oh right, so it sort of sounds a bit like you're suggesting International is slightly better in a way?

    No missing features?

    I'm on GiffGaff (O2 network)
