My 7 Pro is now updated to Oxygen 10: just great :)

Things are different, including some basic gestures (side swipe notably).
    It needs some habit still.
All my apps seem fine with this new setup.

Come again? The manual download is the official OTA. Been covered hundreds of times in this thread.

And that is true because you are saying so...ok... don't download anything, is not safe and full of bugs.

Post update (done last week) i tried using wireless display and youtube cast, both failed. using oneplus 7 pro, tried on LG tv and even amazon fire stick. it shows connecting... and then disconnects.

previously it was working fine, no changes done. tried switching from 2.5ghz to 5 but same results. tried without registering to any wifi, still same issue.

There is no magic powder sprinkled on top of the cake just because it's an OTA. An moderator already served it at post 2 in page 1. If the delivery method bothers some they should wait.

Far too many come here and ask about OTA and when a solution is offered... all kinds of reactions... Just wait if no solution is acceptable.

Just to make things clear... It's not buggy due to Oxygen Updater. It's the update itself. For me (on beta 2 on 7 Pro) it works pretty well. Not much to complain about.
Before messing around and rollback you could try a factory reset. That is what I did when I started using 10.
An updated 10 version is probably some time left before it comes... If it is worth the time and effort on a rollback or simply wait for next update is up to you.

How is it that Beta 2 is different than the current stable OTA when Beta 2 was released 2 days before (9/17) the stable on 9/19?

Yep. And I'm going to keep saying it because it is true. You choosing to believe falsehoods is your problem.

It's very similar as far as I know. Some minor patches on top of beta 2 I guess.

Omg yes this drives me insane because all my immediate contacts have pictures and the low-resolution picture just looks horrible.

I did run into a few contacts with low resolution images. I was able to resolve it by viewing that contact on a different device also synced to the same account. For me, that meant looking at them from my work iPhone. I can only guess that caused the OP7P to resync what it saw as a modified image.
