Some one here are suggesting factory reset to fix battery draining, but it won't work.factory reset will make your phone fast and smooth (especially if you haven't reset anytime it after updating from pie to android 10). battery draining issue is a bug probably in kernel which keeps cpu cores always at 2.8ghz when you are using phone(even for media or internet consumption),so more heat and more battery drain.

There can't be a generic kernel issue like you describe, otherwise we'd all have the battery issue? There's some great advice on this thread on battery optimisation which is not a factory reset. I followed that and am easily getting > 24 hours battery life out of a 3,300mAh 6.

just downgraded to Android pie again cos android 10 has been so laggy since the update.
the battery doesn't even last half day even with moderate usage.

Mine did too for a while after I upgraded. Have you optimised your 3rd-party apps (settings/battery/battery optimisation?) It takes a while, but set all those apps to 'Optimise' unless you need them to be active in the backround. Very happy with battery life after I did this.

If you have a global phone (not the T-Mobile version), OnePlus have now posted 10.3.0 in the Software Upgrade section of their site. Pick your phone and follow the instructions there. Make sure you backup.

Have you optimised your 3rd-party apps? That screenshot shows an estimated 24 hours battery life?

OK. Bit confused what the issue is with SOT. You've had 15 hours battery life so far, 9 hrs left. What's the issue?

yes but look at the speed my battery got drained from 100% to 37% in just 2.5 hours with the same usage my battery will come to 0% in another half n hour
thats my main concern my battery dont last more than 3 hours

I don't think this is what those screenshots are saying. Your battery was at 100% 15 hours ago. You have 9 hours of charge left if you continue to use the phone in a similar way. During that time you had the screen on for 2 hours 32 minutes. That's not bad.

Unless I've completely misunderstood how these screens work.

not only battery drain issue, but I received phone unlocking issue as well after the OS update. It's disappointing OnePlus could come up with such update which feeds issue to the phone.

Learn to read your own screenshot correctly!

Your battery drained from 100% down to 37% in 15 hours.

2 hours 32 minutes is the time your screen was on during that time.

At your present rate of usage, you have another 9 hours of battery life left.

Therefore, according to your own screenshot, your phone will, on a single charge, last approximately 24 hours with roughly 4.5 - 5 hours screen on time.
