It's like this in every thread. Half of it is "when will I receive update?", a quarter of "this update sucks!" with a tiny bit of actual problems.

It was always going to be this way with the T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant.

I wrote this warning just after its launch, back in November 2018...

"Updates are likely to be a lot slower to the T-Mobile (USA) variant as they will need to be adapted for and certified by the carrier first and we all know how well that works with other phone manufacturers.

So, whilst T-Mobile (USA) variant owners will receive a slightly subsidised phone it will not provide the stock OnePlus experience that the global model offers.

I predict that once some T-Mobile (USA) variant users realise this, there will be a wailing and the gnashing of teeth that we have witnessed over the years with other U.S. carrier models.

    Bottom line... "
If you want the full, unfettered, OnePlus phone experience... pay the full price and get yourself the Global model." Source

IMHO, T-Mobile (USA) abandoned their 6T around 3 - 4 months after launch. I do believe that TMO will have to offer their own version of Android 10 eventually and after that it will drift off into obscurity once more.

The big saving grace is that it can be converted to the global model, which a large number of users have already done.

How can I convert to global model? My phone is already carrier unlocked.
    Tick tick tick!
    UPDATE 02/14/2020
MY T-MOBILE OP 6T just updated today. The wait is over and I have security update for December 1,2019 along with Android 10 oxy 10.03.01. Let's see when the next security update comes.

I'm coming from custom ROMs that I installed after the first messy Android 10 update. I wanted to know if there has been some improvement. but that's really the opposite. the phone is slow, laggy and the battery drains really fast... hope this will be fixed soon...

5 days after reinstalling oxygen os...

battery is disgusting... I can't even finish a day...
and still the same bugs as the first beta, I mean that I hear cracks in songs on Spotify and the music speed is about 10% slower ( it occurs on bt on my car's radio, generally the 2 or 3 time I connect to it) ... what's the matter with you Oneplus? we're 4months from the launch and still got those bugs... if I consider that the lags and the slowliness of this ROM is normal...
it was my first and last OnePlus phone.
