I don't have this problem now but had this in one of the previous updates where the sound used to leak from the main speaker despite being connected to Bluetooth earphones. Suggest you to reset the Bluetooth settings once as well as unpair/repair the Bluetooth earphones. Before doing this, check whether the media output to selected to Bluetooth.

Thats what I already did. I've backed up all my data and Im in the midst of a factory reset to ensure that my "dirty" update didn't cause the bug

So I've just done the reset, and now it works, which is fabulous
I just am stuck wondering what was causing it. Additionally, I need to get root back onto the device and see if that impacts it.

I do use it extensively, as currently in lockdown where I am from.

I don't do gaming or streaming, I have an Android box for Streaming.

If you check my previous posts for battery life they all come up similar.

I have nearly all 3rd party apps on Optimized, I always kill my recents after use of the apps, I also use Fast Task Killer app to free up memory.

I leave the phone plugged in overnight, every night. I don't have junk apps on the phone that I have no use for.

I reboot the phone at about once per every 1 to 2 days.

And I regularly get the battery life you see with, give or take, about 20% battery left at the end of the day

I actually charge my battery up to 70-75% every day while the battery life still shows 20%. And I recharge 2 times up to full 100% per month. Maybe this also is effecting on adaptation of the battery life. But I use all apps what I need. No gaming, no Instagram, no Facebook but Twitter and Linkedİn I have. I do more streaming in hires audio either by Bluetooth or cabled headphone. I believe the apps strongly effected on the energy management in the devices.

this update sucks. My screen goes black with only indicators blinking. This happens every other 30 minutes. Only cure i found is press your power button for 13 seconds or so and then the phone restarts. Everything goes back to normal for next 30 mins and then it crashes again. All my meetings and calls are getting disturbed because of this.

The only reason i was happy being with One plus family was its Stability. I never faced this issue before. But in last couple of months i am thinking otherwise because of faulty patches you people push to our phone. I hope the coming updates are stable enough else i am thinking of switching to another brand.

Do a full Erase/Delete Data button, factory reset. This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

Go to Settings, System, Reset Options, Erase All Data, click on the Delete All Data button,

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

Not much point showing that, without also showing the full usage. If I were to charge my phone 3 or 4 times during the day, but unplugged it before nearing full charge, then I could also get that kind of screen on time.

    Just saying 🤷‍♂️

    Hi!

I just subscribed Disney+ in Germany and cannot install the app. Message is saying, that 'this item is not compatible with the Oneplus6'. This is the first time I got such a message while installing an app from the play store.

Am I the only one to experience this? Any hints?

    Kind regards

I'm in no way an expert on any of this, so I may be wrong here. I think from the little I've read, that it's too do with DRM Widevine level. The level that Disney plus is using is 3, whereas OnePlus 6 is only level 1.

Edit: It downloads ok on my 6t. Is your bootloader unlocked or you have root by any chance?
