    I don't get more than 2.5-3 hours.
I stopped caring about it long ago. it is what it is.
    Can't be helped.
I've given up on expecting software updates to improve my situation.

    Got myself a power bank.
    Best thing I can recommend.

According OnePlus support team in Android 10 software itself have designed status bar in this respective manner...

So we will not wait changes in the notch issue...

    Wipe cache partition

    Turn off your device.

Press and hold the Volume down and Power button at the same time.

When the OnePlus logo appears, release the Power button, but continue holding the Volume down button.

At the Password screen, enter the Password or PIN number that you use to unlock your device. When done, tap Ok.

    Tap English.

    Tap Wipe data and cache.

    Tap Wipe cache.

    Tap Yes to continue.

Tap Reboot to restart the phone.

Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > see all apps > select three dots > Reset app preferences.
    Then reboot.

This will not delete your apps data but you will have to provide permissions again.

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Lag, Heat, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Also charge your phone to full and restart it after optimizing, and see if that helps.

Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more battery than necessary.

Amen to that! The single worst issue with this whole Android 10 rollout! Happens on my 6T and my wife's 7T! 🙄 Maybe it's an Android 10 OS level bug rather than a OnePlus issue, I don't know 🤷‍♂️

It seems to be a fairly random issue, you say it happens on your phones and yet I don't experience that issue, nor any other issues mentioned here.

I can understand the frustration, but I also have a 6T. So I dont understand how one 6T can have this, and yet another doesn't.,the hardware is the same, as is the software if you are on 10.3.2 on 6T.

I am currently on WhatsApp 2.20.58,although it never happened on previous version.

Am also on Gallery version 3.8.21 from apkmirror.

Unless another app is causing a conflict which then causes the freeze. Would be interesting to get to the bottom of the issue, as I don't believe it's OP6T hardware/software causing it. It must be either a setting or another app.
