Always people here who are happy to help. It's just a case of asking for help instead of demanding help like so many seem to do 🙂

The updates are perfectly stable, people just need to learn common sense and how to maintain their phones without running here and wanting everything spoon-fed to them. Google exists, you know.

Oh here we go, one instance of a phone not functioning, when 10s of thousands of others have updated via Oxygen Updater and the install is working fine, including mine using the same method.

Elaborating on what bugs you have instead of some random statement might help.

To be honest Beta is fine, when both channels are running, the issue was really the way it was communicated once the Beta Channel closed. And then releasing a stable update 2 days later, kinda messed it up a bit. But resolutions were found, and we'll done to those who found them.

Am glad you got sorted though. Happy days. [e]1f601[/e][e]1f44d[/e]

when You open some of application. it freezes app for sometime
spontaneous flickering of brightness is higher thn before in auto mode.

    Okay, I have 3 suggestions.

    1. Clear all screen locks, pin, Fingerprint face, the whole shebang.

Then clear all Smart Locks as well.

    Reboot the phone.

Then setup face unlock only, see if this works for you.

    2. For all the Lag and Freeze issues.

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Heat issues, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 3 to 4 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

If its still not improving, backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, and repeat the steps above.

    3. For flickering

Turn on or off DC Dimming, whichever state its in do the opposite.

Also Turn on or off Ram Boost. Try a combination of both.

Set display Calibration to AMOLED Wide Gamut and set the Cool Warm slider as you would like it.

See if any or all of the above help.

No, am just a user same as you, I just do this as a hobby. Worked in It for years, am currently in lockdown so this keeps the mind going. I don't get paid in anyway shape or form.

I just like to see that people end up using their phones the best way possible.

It costs nothing, and it fills my day. I do it elsewhere as well, I find it fun, and if someone comes back and says thanks it was fixed and maybe even sometimes not, its the satisfaction that an attempt was made.

Have been that person who required help a long time ago, and people were willing to do that. So you might say it's paid it forward.
