There is lot of difference between the entry-level smartphone and the flagship model. FYI the OnePlus smartphones which we use now was described as flagship killer at that time and also the mid range smartphone that lies between the entry-level and premium smartphones.

OnePlus 6/6t is a fully packed semi flagship, but if you compare that with the redmi note 7 pro it can beat OnePlus in some areas. but comparing the devices fully can show a lot of differences and that's what we have paid for. So they have a 48mp camera and we have 16 but if you use the gcam mods its much better than the 7 pro.

Now the device is 2 years old, which companies give this much attention for a device this years old and of course they will care for their newest model, because it's business. These OnePlus devices we are using is no longer in the market and still getting updates till mid of 2021 how cool is that.

Thanks to @ironass for putting this together.

This Link will guide you through the Downgrade process.

All Downgrades to earlier builds involve wiping the phone.

So you will need to backup your phone data.

If you can, you could try a Full Factory Reset to fix the issue. Steps below to Factory Reset the phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Your phone will now restart and go through the Full reset cycle.

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

And its always good practice to backup phone data before upgrading.

1st clear your OnePlus Launcher App info Cache.

    Then try the following.

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Heat issues, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 3 to 4 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

If its still not improving, backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, and repeat the steps above.

If you compare 6 series currently to the 5 series getting Android 10 Beta now.

More than likely the next Beta will be Android 11. And might be next year when 6 series phones get it.

3 series ROM updates finished last year Android 9, chances are 5 series will end of life ROMS this year on Android 10 , and 6 series update ROMS will finish next year on Android 11.

That would be 4 Android versions updated, 6 series started with Android 8, then 9, 10 and more than like end on 11.

Thats way better than many manufacturers support.

Samsung are lucky to get 2 versions of Android.

Don't have that bug. Nice bike by the way.

Try clearing all screen locks, pin, Fingerprint, face locks etc.

Clear all Smart Locks as well.

Clear Oneplus Launcher App info Cache.

    Restart the phone.

    Re setup the Fingerprint lock.

    See if that helps.
