Try it with a GCam and see if the same issue occurs.

Dev Marco Gcam integrated XML files for 6 series phones.

I have this one installed and it works very well.

    7.3_GCam_MJL_v4.1.1_Minilux.apk (marco, 2020-04-29, oneplus 6/6t, changelog)

The XML are integrated, so no additional files required.

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Heat issues, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 3 to 4 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

If its still not improving, backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, and repeat the steps above.

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Not sure what you mean by that, what I was suggesting, was to try the Gcam software to take pictures and compare them to one's taken on stock. And see if you can see any difference. As in, is there any improvement.

I use the Gcam all the time now.

It didn't work for me to after the first wipe. I had to wipe twice and then wipe the cache again and only after that the issue mitigated.

I'll do a general update on my whole bug situation later

Just to check, when doing the wipe, do you enable Erase Internal Storage, image below, before clicking Delete All Data?

Many say this does nothing as the Cache partition was removed with the new Android partitions.

    Wipe cache partition

    Turn off your device.

Press and hold the Volume down and Power button at the same time.

When the OnePlus logo appears, release the Power button, but continue holding the Volume down button.

At the Password screen, enter the Password or PIN number that you use to unlock your device. When done, tap Ok.

    Tap English.

    Tap Wipe data and cache.

    Tap Wipe cache.

    Tap Yes to continue.

Tap Reboot to restart the phone.
