Wouldn't say that now, this is quite a common possible fix that is easily found in Settings. At least some can find it, others maybe not.

So did it fix the issue?

Of course it did! Why do you think I called you a genius ? 😁 ;)

As for it being a common fix, this one isn't very common. I knew it myself tbh,but had completely forgotten about it. It's kind of hidden, you know.

After the latest update of 10.3.3 with Android security patch level of April 2020. After the update the battery backup is quite irrevalant of what my device was capable of in the oldest version.....In the previous version I was capable of playing 3-3.5 hours pubg ...but after the update my battery is draining very fast and I m only getting hardly 2 hours backup....plzz help me if any 1+6 user are also facing same issue

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Heat issues, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 3 to 4 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

If its still not improving, backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, and repeat the steps above.

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

I agree but a restart is a good first step to getting simple things sorted out.

Phone randomly heated during charge at 55% and rebooted after losing all network signals. After removing SIM, it went till 100% perfectly fine (all the rest of the charging was done with no SIM).

Now I'm using it unplugged with the SIM inside again and it seems to be working fine. I'll report tonight/tomorrow if (as it did before) will work just fine.

So so far the only "fix" to the signal/overheating mix is:

    1) Wipe data and cache twice
    2) Wipe cache (just to be sure)
    3) Reset network adapter
    4) Avoid to use previous back ups (I don't know, I did use my drive backup for a few things but the apps where manually downloaded)
    5) Charge phone without SIM inside
5 - optional) Use phone without SIM (I don't know, I need to do further testing)

The combo that seems to bring to overheating is: charging, SIM inside, wifi either on or off.

There is nothing we can do. You can try to download it with Oxygen OS updater or from One Plus site

    hello sir,

Since after the phone got updated to version 10.3.3, my phone is not working properly. the problems mentioned below:
    1. The Volume of the phone gets high and low automatically without pressing any keys.
    2. The songs starts playing even if the Songs application is closed/ exited.
    3. The Google voice assistant starts automatically.
    4. The wired earphones when plugged-in won't work properly.
    5. I have called to customer support and they have suggested to reset the app preferrences, which was done but it gave me no use as the same problem was repeated.

Can you please look into the issue and get a solution on the same.
