With active usage being 8.5hrs that is the problem. There was only 6 minutes of background usage. Any option you select there will only affect background usage not active usage.

Well the best option for battery life, is to have it set to optimise.

Although the reason your battery life has taken such a hit is because of the 8.5 hours you've been playing PUBG. Optimising background usage won't affect that.

It is a staged random rollout. Just be patient and it will come to you in due course.

Just in case there is an App hogging resources, causing Heat issues, causing lag, Battery drain or freezing, clear your recent apps, also try setting 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 3 to 4 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

If its still not improving, backup your phone, full factory reset, Delete All Data, as in wipe your phone completely, and repeat the steps above.

Yes Google Photos is now separate from Google Drive. So it's a matter of using Google photos for you photo backup only. The rest will backup to Google drive through Google backup. Although you can enable, disable photos option from Google backup settings as well.

Rollback again will do nothing other than wipe your phone again, there will be nothing to retrieve.

ROLL-BACK FROM CURRENT ANDROID 10 Beta or Stable TO EARLIER STOCK ANDROID 9 OR 10

Thanks to @ironass for putting this together.

    https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/roll-back-to-stock-android-9-or-10.1215079/

All Downgrades to earlier builds involve wiping the phone.

So you will need to backup your phone data.

If you can, you could try a Full Factory Reset to fix the issue. Steps below to Factory Reset the phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Your phone will now restart and go through the Full reset cycle.

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

And its always good practice to backup phone data before upgrading.

Sorry, I couldn't agree at all. I like the way how beautifully Apple's iOS & Google's Stock Android Roll-out works. Global roll-out in a single day at a single time, Period.
