Yes you can move from beta to a newer stable build without data loss. Although you should backup your data first incase. Personally I would format when moving from beta to stable anyway though.

It's a staged, random rollout. It goes first to a smaller group of "random" users, before going out to increasingly larger groups of users, and can take a couple of weeks to reach everyone.

It's done this way to try to minimise the chance of any major bugs getting out there. Be patient and it'll soon reach your device 🙂

But it is as expected as you can get, dependent on your personalisation and customisations, along with your specific usage.

its a phone that happens to play games and media. It's not an entertainment device that happens to be a phone.

If you want it sooner. Use either the 3rd party app Oxygen Updater from the Playstore

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arjanvlek.oxygenupdater

Or check the link below from XDA. Links to manually install are there.

I went to the official OnePlus forum to try a solution. I asked politely. but if I wanted an answer like: download the oxygen update, I would go to the oxygen forum for that. You understand this?

    Here we go again..........

The space below the keyboard is built into android 10, to aid with gesture navigation and ease typing. It's exactly the same on ALL of my android 10 devices (including pixel 2XL).

You are asking the wrong people to change this.

It can be reduced via ADB, although that causes other issues with the UI in some apps
