sorry for asking multiple questions about software release, buy does anyone know about delays for 6/6t updates? I understand it's a stage rollout, but its been nearly 2 weeks.

also, I have a 5t and Android 10;was released on 27 May, is there a delay in this rollout?

    thanks,

That's completely normal for a staged rollout. If you can't wait for the OTA to reach you, you have options to get it earlier.

I see that adaptive notification priority is now in development settings,I never enable it's I have notification for some apps and I'm asking if I enable it I would receive more notification for that's apps or not at all, I'm in doubt

mine is the 6t as well but an unlocked T-Mobile version, think still have the T-Mobile boot screen and icon app on my phone. I can't update using the oxygen updater

You have to convert to global build.

I've tried following the XDA forum method but maybe I'm just not doing it right because it won't work.

Guys every time it's says incremental roll out. I don't understand what it means. it's been 2 weeks yet to receive the update. You guys has crazy announcements always.

It's a staged rollout, and is exactly the same every time there's a new update. You will receive it, however it can take a couple of weeks (or longer) for all to receive the OTA.

However if you don't wish to wait, you have options to update yourself via local upgrade, or third party options (oxygen updater)

security patches update for 2020/05 getting it for 6 weeks it's not a worth roll out. When there is an official update, why should I do it manual update. I understand now for OnePlus team model 6 and 6T are older version and least bothered.

OnePlus have a bi monthly update policy for security updates, do yes there are occasions that you may be 6 weeks behind on security patches, but that's still within the 2 month timeframe.

As for why we should have to do it manually.... We don't HAVE to do it manually at all, as there is also the first option of waiting patiently for the OTA 🤷‍♂️
