Thats how it goes with any TWRP update or OS update. All you have to do is staying in recovery and install additional zips. Root again is long not so lengthy process like you sound in your initial post. Ideally from os perspective there is no chage coz everything everything happens in recovery.

Anyone else having trouble with the night mode?
Temperature and brightness don't change back to normal after the night mode is disabled again.

    Do a Full Factory Reset

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Once done, use the phone for a couple of days without adding apps to check for issues with just the raw fresh OOS only.

Only introduce previous 3rd party apps gradually over 2 weeks to see if any particular app or apps drain the battery

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

Try to Optimize the phone, clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 2 to 3 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

OnePlus 6 has a 60Hz screen. Your hardware doesn't support it.

If you want to say no Chinese goods then stop using OnePlus and other brands and make your own device and run your own software. It's an offensive type statement. If you want to say no to Chinese Goods give your statement to Govt.

    Either one....
Coming out of auto (scheduled) it stays in the night mode (screen settings).
Fore enabling and disabling doesn't fix it.

I fixed it by disabling the contrast en temperature disabling the night mode and rebooted... (Full reboot, turn off, wait 20 seconds, turn on)

    Reset the Bluetooth adapter.

Go to Settings, System, Reset Options, Reset WiFi Mobile Bluetooth

    Then restart the phone.

Also factory reset the Bullets, check the manual on how to do this.

Then pair them back up again. See if that helps.

I am not getting app updates in play store since updated to 10.3.5 three days back. May be actual but My OP6 has 84 apps installed and I have never seen no update for any app for 3 days straight. Play Store shows certified and is latest.
