    And you think wrong.
We are in within 3rd year for 6 series phones. You are still in denial about it all for some reason.
Anyway, the next update will be here in a few days, and the one after that will be 2 months away end of November. Bi-monthly as stated, and as has been happening for the last few updates. 😎[e]1f44d[/e]

Be happy with this frequency of updates because not many oems have updates released for its phones that often and even they don't care that much about their phones if they are half and year old.

    Reset your Network Adapters

Settings, System, Reset Options, Reset WiFi Mobile Bluetooth.

    Reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work, then contact OnePlus support directly to see if they have more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for contact and online chat details.

As you say, you have reset the device already, and reset network.

You could also try the OnePlus Diagnostic tool to see if there are hardware issues

This is the OnePlus Diagnostic tool.

You can run this tool to check if everything is working as expected by clicking on Detect Now.

Just follow the instructions on the screen.

    Download OnePlus Diagnostic tool.

Also, check and ensure the electrical contacts on the sim card are clean. And if the sim card is more than a few years old, consider replacing it.

Worth a try to see what happens. You will have to backup the phone though. As it will wipe the phone.

ROLL-BACK FROM CURRENT ANDROID 10 Stable TO EARLIER STOCK ANDROID 9 OR 10

All Downgrades to earlier builds involve wiping the phone.

So you will need to backup your phone data.

Thanks to @ironass for putting this together.

This Link will guide you through the Downgrade process.

And here is a seperate guide to bring you straight back to Android 9 if you wish to go that far back.

As mentioned 100s of times as a suggestion, and has fixed most charging issues, quick search will find it.

Clean the ports on the phone, charger and both ends of the USB cable with a fine dry toothbrush or non conductive wooden or plastic toothpick carefully.

As a consumer, after paying for your phone, how can you even think of losing the integrity of your phone by installing custom rom.
And my post was not about software excitement, android 11 etc.. Its was about how a basic but important security patch is not delivered by the manufacturer which is supposed to be monthly basis.Don't care about the new features, but security.. And installing a custom rom for security update , how can you even suggest that!!
Do note, the fate will come to ur 50-60K 8 Pro too, in future.

Oneplus are really pretty upfront about their security updates. They are released as part of their bi monthly updates.

Sure security updates are important, but not nearly as important as the users responsibility for their own device.
