Of course I have to wait but that doesn't mean I will not let the development team know how I feel as a customer. Not everyone is changing their phone every 6 months and when we invest some money buying a flagship phone we demand the manufacturer to maintain that device and not neglect it for the sake of new products. That's why I tagged the staff member that started this oxygen os update post.

Delaying the update is a well fowl played act by oneplus team. Actually 6t's two year regular software update cycle ends in october last. So in that if they provide update in September they've to release one more update. By delaying & releasing in mid of october their problem will be solve. and OPKMKB sitting their will say we are community friendly.

Good Idea but Purchased in India and using it Qatar. If i do factory reset, lot many Apps verification required to activate apps through India SIM by dialing 4-5 Digit Numbers. So it will not help us.

Yes... But one solution... Force stop these apps and then clear cache and also data

And then restart your device ( not needed )

If problems not solved ...then try to uninstall Updates of these apps....

Dunno what others are doing with their phones to deplete the battery so quick.

Other than the Playstore or Google Services causing issues from time to time over the last 2 years, have been getting this SOT for the last 2 years, even on the Betas, and I had all versions of both 9 & 10 Beta and Stable in that time.

    Long may it last 😎😎👍👍

You guys are getting good battery because I see in straight line during stand-by. (Could be night)

But that is not the case with others. Over the night I notice it will gradually decrease the 10-12% battery.
Since the reason u guys are getting good battery life.

NOTE: During night I always make sure to close all running apps. And after 10 pm screen goes to night mode automatically till 7 am. Still I do loss 10-15% of battery in the night.

Do u have any solution on decreasing percentage of battery on standby.

    Try to optimise the apps...
Battery > Battery Optimization > put every app to optimise only important (high priority apps) on intelligent mode.

If you are looking for Latest and greatest of Android and OK with slight unstable system switch to Lineage OS
If you are looking for a stable system and want OEM support instead of self-solving, stick to Oxygen and let OEM do the testing before releasing the update.
A stable and slight old update is better than quick but broken update.

In the sense that the capacity of the Battery is down to 81% so a 3700mAh battery will have lost 19% of its capacity. So you're battery is operating at about 3000mAh.

Batteries lose capacity over time. It's the nature of batteries.

All depends how you use them., I use my phone extensively, but don't do Gaming, so a 10% loss per year is fairly normal, I have the phone nearly 2 years now. Some may lose less or mir depending in usage.

It sounds like you have the Oneplus 6T, T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant.

Here is how to receive the token and how to unlock the bootloader for this model...
