Hydrogen OS may not always be in sync with Oxygen OS version numbers. Time frames and even version numbers may be different from time to time.

Version Numbers will be same bcz I already used Hydrogen OS more than a year. Once it was not in sync with Oxygen OS but OnePlus started combining both versions. Only change is name, instead of Google apps their own apps are used.

But if they started using different version Numbers can't do about it.

Most often is but not always guaranteed. Maybe they has been pretty good in sync on 6T so far though...
But they don't even keep EU, Global and Indian firmwares on some devices in sync at all times. At some times some devices have 3 different version numbers, at least on stable.
Sometimes a number is just a number.

Clear the OnePlus Camera App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

    See if that helps.

None of us don't know when will be next update released, so don't ask. OnePlus also mentioned they won't provide any ETA (estimated time arrival).

No, the 845 doesn't have that facility at present, doubt if it will ever be there.

Definitely. I won't buy OnePlus anymore. They think too highly of their company. And the shell is not the best they have for a long time.

    Go for iPhone...
You will get faster updates but your old mobile will slow down with updates.
    This is company strategy..
Then you will go to buying a new mobile

    but oneplus not doing that.

    That's not true at all.

Apple is not slowing down phones, that would happen if you have very low battery health and now you can choose is you want full performance anyway, or replace the battery - meaning your device is pretty old.

Nonetheless a lot of iPhone owners are still using until today iPhone 6S, 7, SE with very good performance.

I'm using and iPhone 8 and it's running extremely smooth, with iOS 14 - yes a 3 years old device with full up to date OS, and not only security updates, as well all the new features, which should still come for another 2 years easily.

The only problem is that it is an ecosystem, you don't get Android freedom, if you don't need the "freedom", Apple is doing a pretty good job ultimately.
