Did you ever update it manually once? If you uninstall updates of it? If you also clear data on it what happens?
Did you update any other OS components manually?

An antivirus on a mobile is useless: YOU are the best antivirus by not installing anything from anywhere.
Uninstall Kasperski, reboot your mobile and try again to install the dashboard apk.

Just tried it myself and it will not install, the versions above the one you have installed already are APK rips from other Phone models and are probably specific to those models.

    I get the same error

The version for 6 series phones is the one you have installed.
    Same as on my 6T

    What's the point of this?

It's absolutely ridiculous that we're still stuck on July security patches. I don't care about new features in updates, but the slow schedule for security patches is absolutely pathetic.

This is why I'm definitely not buying another OnePlus once I feel I got my money's worth out of my 6T. I'm better off going back to Google phones seeing that everyone's already cheeping out with mid-range SoCs anyway and cameras are already good enough.

If you buy or don't buy OnePlus devices it doesn't matter bcz fact is fact when OnePlus preparing for release of new devices they mostly work on software stability for new devices but this time they are releasing more devices so everyone is working on new devices. Currently 8 series and 6 series haven't received update. They may release on launch day or after launch day. Everyone are users in this thread and can't help. If you have any issues report your feedback and issues through feedback section or OnePlus support page in twitter.

1st make sure you are using 3.8.114 or 3.8.116 which are the versions that work on 6 series phone, if you are using a version with a higher number, go into App info, click on the 3 dot menu and uninstall updates. So it reverts to the 6 series Stock version.

Also clear the OnePlus Camera App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

    See if that helps.

That's fine, there won't be an option to uninstall if you are already on the stock 3.8.114, just some have installed other versions that won't work properly and I wasn't sure if you had.

Have to tried the cache clear as I mentioned above.?
