So security update remove from settings and should hide in settings, so no one can see them.

Dude don't you know that phone can easily be hacked, and many times phones security have been compromised. If there won't be any threat perception thn there won't be any security update. If it has thn it means something.
And if a server can be hacked thn there is no big deal in phone.
I have seen you guys to put down others. Don't think yourself smart. Respect others opinion also. Got it buddy.

The point in his reply to your post is, the article that you refered to is about an incident that happened nearly a year ago, that is completely unrelated to security patches (and something that we all debated the rights and wrongs about at the time).

The article refers to a data breach on OnePlus's end! That can happen no matter what security patch you have on your device. You using that article to support your arguement about security updates is irrelevant to the security patches debate.

But it is true that OnePlus need to rolled out update properly and on time because they are committed for this.
This is not the reason that they have lot's of pressure for their lattest series and upcoming series that's why they are not able to develop software and update for us.
If oneplus lauch their new phone after 15 day's then they need to hire more staff for everything which they committed after sale services.
So don't excuse that what happens if we didn't get update on time. We need to know why they didn't push/rolled out updates. We need services which is confirmed by them at the time of sale their products because we pay more for their after sale services.

We don't have any issue if oneplus says that they are not able to rolled out updats for now because of this they updats us one more year as they are delayed.

Out of topic. security is easily breached. I put my device out of my pocket and it slips from hand, maximum 2 feets. But corner break down. Don't know what to do with it ! I bought it few weeks back from official website.

I said it drops only first time and breaks. Before this device didn't get any scratches while dropped. 😤😤😤😤

With all due respect, I haven't excused anyone from anything. I was posting a reply explaining that his post had nothing to do with security updates.

I'm not here to excuse anyone from anything. Was just making the point that if you're going to use articles to back up your arguement, then the article should at least have something to do with the the issue 🙄

So you have dropped it before and weakened the structure of the case, physics will tell you that you drop it enough times, something will get weaker and eventually break.

If it was a Titanium case, the case may survive but the phone won't, being in a metal alloy case and all.

    Stop dropping the phone.

    😎😎👍👍

Sure and I am not blaming you for anything but you are also a user like us. If we are right then we didn't stop talking about this because yet we didn't get any comments from OnePlus team.
