Enable or disable both Ram Boost and DC Dimming, try a combination of both states for each feature.

Restart the phone after each change

Also Clear all Screen Locks, Pin, Fingerprint and Facelocks etc

And also clear all Smart Locks as well.

    Restart the phone.

Setup the Fingerprint once more and see if that resolves the issues.

I notice that you keep using words such as "you" "your" in your post.

You are aware that this is a "community forum", and as such, it is not anyone in here that you speak with, that are responsible for providing updates.

Only other users in here, not OnePlus employees 🤷‍♂️

It reminds me of an old saying around these parts...

    "Patience is a virtue,
    Possess it if you can.
    Seldom found in a woman,
    Never in a man!
    "
    ;)

Yep, there's similar sayings here in Wales.

I'll refrain from posting my own words on patience though, I'd hate to offend any overly sensitive individuals.

Sole reason I bought this phone was software. There have been huge security issues with Android that needed to be patched quickly. Some people are surrounded by others who hack their phones quite easily, some aren't. Those older phones you talked about, even easier. Remember we are not all living with the same circumstances.

I think from this update OnePlus will start giving update once in 3 months.

Because it's already an 2 years old Phone for OnePlus company. Not showing interest on old phones.

Just a thought. What do u guys think.
