absolutely yes. the only difference is that when you update the device through that tool you will not have the report of what has been updated in the system settings section!

    Hi All,

I have updated via To Oxygen updater App, the UI was smooth experience but facing few problems

    - Google photos app getting crashed
    - Screenshots not getting saved
    - Media files are not visible in any of my media player though I have to go select manually from my storage to play the videos always

Anyone face these issues post this new update.

    Thanks

Hi, guessing you were a beta tester. Go back to page 37, post 726. The 5 steps are usually required when going from beta to stable without a system wipe.

Almost everything works fine in this update. good battery backup and smooth performance.but i have only one issue. while making notes in memo, to set the alarm in notes the position of calendar and clock is slightly above the screen. I have faced the same problem in previous build also. In this update also it is not fixed but alarm of notes works fine.

DC dimming is always off, and I'm on the latest OnePlus launcher version as well. Ive tried restarting the phone but to no avail. This issue is there since OOS 10.3.3

Can i upgrade from open beta 6 to 10.3.5, without losing any data

You should be able to upgrade as 10.3.5 has a newer build date.

Having said that, it's always good practice to have a backup of your data just in case something goes wrong.

Because currently both 8 series and 6 series don't have beta builds currently both series only have closed beta builds (included some developers and selected users) and stable builds.
