    Do a Full Factory Reset

This will restore you to a fresh installation of Android. So you will need to backup your phone.

    After Backing up the phone.

    Go to Settings,
    System,
    Reset Options,
    Enable Erase Internal Storage.

Then click on the Delete All Data button.

Once done, use the phone for a couple of days without adding apps to check for issues with just the raw fresh OOS only.

Only introduce previous 3rd party apps gradually over 2 weeks to see if any particular app or apps drain the battery

For more info on how to backup your phone, check the solutions here.

6 series launched with Android 8. Nothing to do with T variant, internals are the same, externals may have changed a little.

But like my 6T. The fundamentals are the same.

You can either wait for the OTA for 10.3.5 (which includes security patch). Or you can download the update and install it manually via local upgrade.

    Incremental update OnePlus 6

    Incremental update Oneplus 6T

    https://otafsg1.h2os.com/patch/amaz..._046-047_patch_2007171912_5566e9d41cbb5d6.zip

    Full update Oneplus 6T

    https://otafsg1.h2os.com/patch/amaz...TOxygen_34_OTA_047_all_2007171912_ac6dc9b.zip

To install it via local upgrade, download the correct file for your device.

Check that the file is placed in your root directory by opening file manager>click on storage>click on internal storage (this is your root directory).

If the file ends in .jar then delete the. Jar so that the file ends in .zip.

Then go to settings>system>system updates>click the cog in the top right corner>local upgrade>select the file you downloaded.

Or alternatively you can download the 3rd party "Oxygen Updater" ago from the playstore.
