    Why not just read the link.

    Downgrading will wipe your device.

    You're obviously in the minority my friend 🙄 Seems there are quite a few disgruntled 6T owners here. Mine is running fine on Android 9.0.11 so until they release a version that won't cause problems I'm happy.

    It seems like they do updates by phone series instead of individual phone. The 6 is definitely in it's third year so it should not be getting any new features, but the 6T is not quite in it's third year yet so it could receive new features along with the security patches.

    I can see how this would upset some users but I'm okay with waiting for Android 11 to get new features. 10.3.6 does everything I need it to do and I am happy with where it is at.

    Let the flaming begin! :mad::mad:

    Awww.. A blind defense from a fan boy!! Come on.. Pls Read my comment properly. I am not asking for 4 years of update. I am saying the current update strategy which oneplus following is of 4 years old. It was formed when they released 3T and when their flagship costed less than $450. At that time people were fine with 2 month update because they were getting what they paid for and it was in a way staying ahead of competition when competitors were pricing their flagships at $700. Now, oneplus selling their flagship for almost $900 almost matching the price of competition but oneplus still sticking to this once in 2 months update formula. how come they are going to retain customers when competitors started giving monthly updates. That's my whole point.

    This is the most sensible comment i come across and matches with what i am expecting. I too call for monthly security update. Its need of the hour.

    If you really care for security then purchase a iphone...rest I would say it's a 2 year old device and even better than rest android devices except pixel 4a which is way costlier in accordance with specifications and You will surely regret after purchasing pixel 4a..less powerful cpu , single camera ( I know it takes excellent pictures but this is 2020)...it is like you are purchasing old device with new software. You will miss OnePlus quick gestures , launcher and more.

    Too early to tell. Most users haven't even had time to go through one battery cycle yet. It would be best to ask in 2-3 days.

    The recent delivery policy of updates from oneplus pretty much convinced me to be a part of apple family from next time. Oneplus will loose their fanbase soon. This is the reason why apple products are costly. atleast you get updates with new features for the next 4-5 years and thats absolutely worth according to the price you pay.

    LMAO they're behind on the security patches your photo promises, the last update was in July, and now that they finally got around to putting out an update in the middle of October, it's for the September security patch.

    I don't get people who defend this, you're a paying customer, why the hell are you justifying poor support?!
