It's fantastic!! This whole crowd first call for security patch, when the patch arrives they all call for Android 11, if Oneplus now launched Android 11 they would definitely want a new phone!
If I were Carl Pei, I would certainly run away ...:D:cool:

OnePlus is all about tech-savvy, if you guys can't flash roms, root, restore their devices to their prime ... You're in a wrong territory, yes they're few bugs and they will be there for another 100 years ... Instead of crying you should have gone and try what's working with you

We're not just fan boys, we're the force that reckons the effort behind an ecosystem where smartphone giants are listening to their loyal customer base.

Apple systematically downgrades their earlier flagships.
Samsung with its UI and Exynos chipset.
    Xiaomi with their OS experience.

See every single company is plagued with problems and its your choice to stay with whatever you wish to.[/QUOTE]So you are the force that is not letting them know about the small bugs?? gr8 work tech savvy guys[e]1f525[/e][e]1f525[/e] Hard Resetting and flashing rom made a guy tech savvy never knew that..That means i have been that kind of tech savvy since a long time [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e]
Certainly a force to reckon with ....FanBoyForce
Now in order to use a phone without bugs you ought to be tech savvy ....its not the responsibility of the company developers to correct that bug....just keep hard resetting your phone [e]1f602[/e][e]1f602[/e] Nice work dude

Well, this happened before the 24 months, so stop defending something they did wrong. And so what if it's a 2yr old device? My midrange Huawei received one update every 3 months, but at least it was the latest.

Well, I know why I’ve changed to iPhone. At least 5 or more years of support. Don’t care about apps outside of the App Store. I never installed APKs from mirror sites or apps that will never get in the Play store.
It was a nice time with Oneplus but I am a happy iPhone user now.

Clear the Google Play Services App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

Also clear the Google Play Services App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

    Then restart the phone

You may have to give it a full charge cycle to see any benefit.

    Also try the following.

Try to Optimize the phone, this helps with Lag, Heat, Battery Drain and much more.

Clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 2 to 3 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.
