Different updates in different regions. "NA" have 12, India 11, EU 10. Same update but with slight regional differances.

If you check about phone you see the firmware type and model.
Might be an hotfix. Then the changelog may not always change.

9 h since disconnect. Near 2.5h screen time. More than 75% left. If equally draining all the time you might get 10h SoT based on what I can see.
You mean idle drain is high or screen drains too much? Powerful SoC, bigger and more power hungry display I guess...
From what I see it's not necessarily bad.

You might want to tweak settings and disable stuff you don't want or need... Several guides and tool tips.

Screen time drains fast. Is it a battery problem?

  12. Swejuggalo , via OnePlus 8 Pro Ultramarine Blue , Sep 4, 2020 :
Isn't it both brighter and bigger than previous device? Bigger screens bigger drain.
2.5h and still 77% isn't very bad. Depends on used brightness manual/auto brightness adjustments and such

I see. Thanks. But many are complaining about the software update which made their phone's battery drain fast. The youtube reviews on battery drain test is i think not exactly the same for all

Exactly. Many things matter. Some get great battery. Some bad. Some wipe caches over and over and never charge fully and let a background optimize finish... Some don't wipe caches and charge nightly on regular basis or even all nights. Some install practically all the worse battery killers they can find. Some don't. Some activate this or that setting here and there. Some turn stuff off they don't need. Guess who gets best battery most of times [e]1f609[/e]

Out on Oxygen Updater. Only as full update so far.
Hopefully we get some info about what this hotfix actually fixes soon or perhaps just note in the update posts already existing.
