    If it is not an issue for you, you can also do that and also clear cache (do not know if factory reset clears cache as well).
    Things you may also try:
    - after reset DO NOT restore from backup, install the apps again
    - do not install all sort of shady .apk files, install apps only from Google Play Store

    Yes sometimes a reset is an answer to most questions. Make sure you have a backup of your data before you attempt it

    I debloated the OS yesterday by removing unnecessary apps and services like zen mode, oneplus switch, etc which i never use. It has been amazing since then. The phone sleeps so much better after that.

    I think even after the update selfie quality is not up to the mark,low light and indoor selfies are average compared to Samsung and oppo phones on this price range

Head to settings - Google - backup and back-up. This will back-up phone logs, ie call logs, text messages, contacts, device settings and photos and videos. Documents can be backed up on Google drive.

    Good luck as my experience since I use smartphone is, reset solves most of it
