Some face bugs even in this release, better to wait for the staged rollout. You may go through a few posts in this thread to know the feedbacks from those who already installed it.

After updating my Oneplus 7 to Oxygen OS which came as an OTA update I faced some major issues which I want to address.

    1. There is a considerable amount of UI lag when browsing an app or changing from app to app. Also there is a stutter/lag while opening any App (Be it in Ram or not).

    2. Haptics are messed up.
Before update the haptics felt more fulfilling. But after update it feels hollow and lasts longer which felt like a cheap vibration.

    3. In camera app The Video Recorder when set to 1080p/4k 60FPS the video is as usual zoomed in(Just like in Android 10). However the output video is much wider, Even more wide area is visible which was not there in the viewfinder while recording.
This issue is not there when video set to 1080p/4k 30fps

    4. Heating issue.
Even though using the phone casually and not doing any heavy task the phone feels warm and heats up. While playing games like Call of Duty temperature goes 45+ degrees which was not there when using Android 10.

    5. Battery drain
Battery drains pretty quickly even though battery management is properly done. Like dark mode, auto brightness turned on and standby time is also reduced.

    6. Charging delay
The battery charges slow even though Dash charger is used. and the last 30% takes much more time. (This was not in the case on Android 10)

I hope people can relate to the issues and the issues get addressed by Oneplus in their future updates.

I hope this bug fix update is good,
I'm waiting from such a long time for Android 11 and I want that to be smooth without any bugs so that I don't have to face any issues.
