I got the update as well. Everything looks to work smoothly, but I agree with the point on haptics. It is a little hollow, probably due to added reverb... I think people prefer the earlier version more.

The battery usage did increase compared to earlier, but I realised that it was because the phone was hot from the update with a battery temp of over 40°C. I cooped it down, and now it seems to be working pretty well.

    Live the Insight ambient screen...
Default wallpapers still seem to be missing on update and the OnePlus team has not gotten back to me about this issue yet.

But what a worry do you have with temperature device, buddies?

-The general android rule says depending on your region that, up to 60° or lower, cpu is safe. More than 100° unsafe.
-The general android rule says depending on your region that, from 35° to 50° battery percent is quite common. Above 50°, starts to be dangerous.

So NOT, your phone is not overheating and that is not an issue.

-Your device getting hot is quite normal when:

    1. You are charging it (dash mode usually).
    2. You are updating a new heavy OS.
    3. The first 4/5 cycles of charging after updating a new heavy OS.
    4. When playing or managing with heavy games or apps (that require high definition graphics).

THE BEST THING TO KEEP SAFE YOUR BATTERY LIFE IS:

-NOT keep charging battery when full charge is reached (100%).
-NOT charge your battery below 15/20 charge percent (red mode).
-TRY not to fully discharge the battery too many times.
    -USE your original charger device.
-TRY not to expose and charge your device to hot or sun too much time.

    Hope that helps..

I have some questions regarding this new update
After the update when the display scaling and font size is set to small, chats in whatsapp and telegram still appear in normal size.
This even applies for the settings panel.
Has anybody felt the same issue?

Same here but i use the One7 Pro. I think the non-pro received a different firmware.

    Hi Team,
Now I can't delete/archive SMS from notification. I need to open SMS in message app to delete it.
This was very useful feature. Without opening the SMS I was able to delete it from notification bar.
    Please bring that feature back.
