That's how i did when i was on OxygenOS 11 OB4 and want to move from OB to Stable channel. Downgraded to stable OxygenOS 9 using the rollback file, updated through OTA to OxygenOS 10 and then to OxygenOS 11. 👍
Did a fresh install of OxygenOS 11.

Is it a fainted image of the bar? If so, that's called "burn-in" and is only fixed by replacing the screen.

But you realize the android 10 release was just as bad as this (at that time oneplus 7 was still the newest and the one, they wanted you too buy). The android 11 release for the onplus 8 was even worse since they changed so much in the ui with 11 and again it was the newest model at the moment. Im with oneplus since the 6 series and i never experienced an major release without bigger Problems. So no, i don't think they don't care about it, if anything i think the deveplopment team is just to small for so many decices. But even then such Problems also happen with big companies like samsung. I'm also not really happy with the bugs, but blaming them like this will not help.

Since this update there have been multiple issues.
My chief complaint is that I have been unable to use my Chromecast since the update.
    Secondly battery drain is awful.
UI definitely more jittery and gallery is a mess
    DO NOT INSTALL

Since the update my chief complaints are that my car idles rough now and I have since noticed brown patches in my front lawn. Also my clothes seem a lot tighter. Worst update ever!

Just kidding. Sorry about the issues you are facing.

I am thinking of trying the OOS 11 EU version on my 1910 Global AA 10.3.8.
Can I upgrade from OOS10 AA to latest OOS11 BA.
Or do I have to flash the BA rom from scratch?

I just got a new update on my T-Mobile OnePlus 7 Pro GM1915. My current update is working fine, so I'm wondering if I should risk updating it again. And if I do, should I do the whole factory reset thing BEFORE updating? It looks like it's might be just a security patch.

UPDATE: It was just an April 2021 security patch, but it said that it also fixed the issue some were having with phone calls coming through the speakers. Everything is working fine. 🙂

Bro one thing tell me, they know android 11 has bugs, in beta so many bugs, but if u going to release stable update first of all close all bugs then release, my question is why they gave us bug update, why we all suffer, keep In beta and tested as long u can, why they gave final android 11.
