    As much as I like my 7T Pro McLaren, I'm really glad that the Pixel 6 Pro is just around the corner.
    It was a nice try with OnePlus but their performance lately is just not worth it to look at another OnePlus device...

    I wonder maybe if OnePlus have decided the OB program is more trouble than it's worth? The original idea, dating back to the OP3T, was for experienced users to use the OB to provide further feedback to the devs. Nowadays it appears to mostly to be used, by users to get the 'latest' OOS, I imagine the value to devs of the current OB is negligible.

    Partly true for sure but why they don't offer the transition from OB to stable without data loss is really beyond all imagination.

    We know that it's possible but even this they don't bother to share.

    Reading through the article the main reason seams the merger with OPPO. Idk it looks more and more that 1+ is loosing all what they stood for.

    Because experienced users should be able to handle the restoration process, and inexperienced users are probably not up to dealing with the issues of poorly coded apps inevitably sh&&ting the bed when data from a different OOS version causes issues?

    OnePlus ain't talking so it's all supposition.

    Oneplus has changed a lot after the merger with OPPO.

    Oneplus 3T experience was far better than OP7T, Took wrong decision of upgrading.

    What are the best options for replacement of OP7T.

    The update you've all been waiting for is here! But for the 7 series only (for now) 🤣
    I'll just stick to OOS 10.0.14 on my 7T Pro and enjoy the fluidity, better battery life and backup, and better performance it gives me unless this latest OOS 11 is as good if not better than OOS 10
