Unfortunately not. Amazon gives you 3 months eligibility to return it.

Frankly speaking OnePlus 8 Pro is the best Android flagship you can still get in the price Amazon sells it and OnePlus software is lovely so I don't really consider returning it.

I just wanted to raise the point that most of the users are not beta testers, or any kind of geeks (like many of us are) so they expect the very stable software to live their lives without ever caring about rollback packages and all these stuff. To summarise, I think there was no reason OnePlus rushes to release a software version which is not as stable as the previous one at least. Anyway, here we are so we will be all patient and wait for the next updates to come 😉

Anyone noticed a dip in the camera performance and image quality after moving to OS 11? I'm noticing serious camera performance issues and the image quality just looks terrible. Nothing like this ever happened on OS 10. Just look at the image below, this is just how the lens focuses on the subject and you can clearly see the noise and blur.

Yeah I can return till end of January so I have time. Great phone but battery life and now messenger bubbles are just terrible.

That's no drain issue. I don't think this thing is suppose to provide you with more than 5-6 hours of screen on time. That's what I get with my 8 Pro. Just bought it, and never tested it with Android 10.

No that's not the case. If you had used Android 10 then you would've noticed how much the battery performance has dipped. Earlier you would get somewhere between 7-8 hours easily and now it's more like 4-5. OnePlus has always been proud of their large battery life on their phones but now it seems like there's no difference between them and other cheaper Android alternatives. The only hope is they bring back the earlier battery performance with the next update, but there's no sign of an update coming anytime soon.

That explains it. I bought this crap coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max and read so much positive about the OnePlus 8 Pro battery. It's also a LOT bigger than my iPhone. But battery sucks. I can barely make it trough an entire day with Android 11. The reviews I read was probably tested on Android 10.
beta 4 is out. is it fixed there?

Dude why would you switch from an 11 pro max?? That's already got good battery life. I switched from my old iPhone X which was decent but didn't give more than 5.5 hrs SOT. So I bought OnePlus because the praise for their batteries were huge but Android 11 messed it all up. Year I heard beta 4 is out but there hasn't been many reviews on it yet, it does mention bringing better power consumption optimisations. I really hope the battery problems and camera gets fixed as those are really the big issues I'm facing.

PS: just roll up a few posts back and check the post I made about the camera issues I'm facing. This update really messed my camera up!

I was done with Apple. Wanted more apps on my phone and the ability to stream games from the cloud. I also wanted 5G. 7-8 hours of screen on time was about right on the iPhone 11. Now I'm at 5 hours, and feel the need to lower my phone usage .

Galaxy Fe and pixel 5 cannot be compared to the powerful OnePlus 8 Pro. They can only be compared to 8T.

You do realise that the 8T has pretty much the same specs like the 8 pro but with a cheaper price tag? So does the normal op 8. The only difference is a bunch of features like wireless charging and an IP rating. Processor and hardware they're practically the same
