I have been testing for the last few days and agree that while charging the phone heats up quite a lot.
This never happened to me before and i have my OP7P for 2 years now.

Battery is still the same - not better and not worse.

Bro... You got bad luck... But disable "automatic system updates" in developer options to prevent it from doing so in the future.

I use sometines this app. It checks your batery health out, recalibrates it and repair the parts damaged. It's very good, after 2 years I have a battery like a new one :)

And also follow these tips --->

-The general android rule says depending on your region that, up to 60° or lower, cpu is safe. More than 100° unsafe.
-The general android rule says depending on your region that, from 35° to 50° battery percent is quite common. Above 50°, starts to be dangerous.

-Your device getting hot is quite normal when:

    1. You are charging it (dash mode usually).
    2. You are updating a new heavy OS.
    3. The first 4/5 cycles of charging after updating a new heavy OS.
    4. When playing or managing with heavy games or apps (that require high definition graphics).

-NOT keep charging battery when full charge is reached (100%).
-NOT charge your battery below 15/20 charge percent (red mode).
-TRY not to fully discharge the battery too many times.
    -USE your original charger device.
-TRY not to expose and charge your device to hot or sun too much time.

Buddy, this s a fake app 😄 don't fall for it. Software can't magically repair a hardware part.

Could be true :). Maybe only calibrates it. Anyway much people comment a better manage and duration with dead batteries by perhaps magical spirits haha. I don't really think this app repairs battery. May be only optimizes it.
I prefer follow the tips. They are more reliable :)

I started having issues with my android auto after updating my phone to OS 11 and I found out that most of the users using it for android auto have similar issues. This update did not help on resolving this ongoing issue. Such a shame .. this will bey last one plus phone.

Definitely a fake up. Promises to do the impossible.
    Reviews are most definitely clickfarmed.
It's just a couple of animations.

Try this out after running what is suggested here.
    Clear data + storage
    Run it again.
You'd get the same animation and results, claiming that parts of the battery are bad, which it just a minute ago (in the previous iteration) had claimed to have fixed.

Use the Oxygen Updater app from the Playstore.
It downloads the rom from the Oneplus servers.
It does not affect you receiving other OTA's later...
