Why would you waste your time? Do you see a compelling reason to update to android 11, if you're happy on 10 stay there and wait for Android 11 to mature.

There are custom ROM threads on this forum, so I imagine "someone else" had their thread closed for another reason. In the main users using custom ROMs have little reason to frequent OOS forums.

Friend, I use OP 7T Pro_HD1913, and I installed OS11.0.2.1.HD01BA (European version), but the phone works poorly (it heats up, the battery runs out quickly and other problems that I don't list).
Please tell me how it is with the Dora kernel, and how I could benefit from bringing my phone to the waterline.
    Thank you in advance!

Yeah in OOS11 battery cycle resets at 100% but in OOS10 it used to reset at around 90%.

    Yes you have to
It's one of the things came with OS11 and they change it yet

Does using custom kernel void the warranty?

Your warranty should be over as it's 2 years old phone,so it doesn't matter

Well, I only have that app (Youtube) that force the screen to 60Hz (it's ok when I'm using it). But 90Hz should come back when I put that app to background (like in Android 10), BUT this not always happend (in Android 11).

No, that's not happening. It any time switch to 60hz. And from 90 to 60Hz, it lags at every scroll, switching between app lags. Even my 3T still runs fine with 60hz and don't see that much lag. I am sure company is doing this on purpose to keep people push to buy latest OnePlus.

60 HZ on my 7T Pro is way more sluggish than 60 HZ on my 3 years old 3T.
Looks like OnePlus did not properly implemented the 60Hz feature on OS 11

So your warranty is over by December 2020 or January 2021

Yep. That's why I'm asking if flashing a custom kernel now will void my warranty or not
