Try Accubattery, it will help you learn what current is reaching your phone from different chargers and cables. Won't fix anything but help with diagnostics.

Can anyone here explain this? It's August 12, 2021, yet my System Update for Google Play, is September 1, 2021... Has OnePlus invented time travel or something? 🤔 LOL 😁😁😁 Screenshot_20210812-141119.jpg

Ok then it's not my fault then, I'm getting warp charge very decently. Check your charger with any other 30w compatible phone.

Yes, you probbanly did a sideload of the android main components from apkmirror. There I see this listed as september 1 google play-system security

Some people say fixes the playsystem update problem.
According to XDA developer that is not true !!
It just updates the metadata, in other words it fixes the version info but not the real problem.

Since it is comming from a non controled source it can even be abused to dilever unwanted content.

Would not advice too use this alleged fix

Do hard reset and see how it goes.
It's recommend it if you installed big new update if you are facing issues

Never stored the source url, will try to find it again.
But look at the package size what can you fix in 20 KB
I remember seeing a decompression of the package content and that was enough proof for me at least.

Would rather see Oneplus repackaging the necesary modules instead of download from a non secure source.

With Android 10, Google selected 13 components (called Mainline Module) to be updated independently. However, there was a big issue. It was not mandatory for device manufacturers to comply with all Mainline Modules so many device makers skipped on it.

With Android 11 though, things have changed dramatically. Now, Google has upped the Mainline Modules from 13 to 25 (which means more control at Google’s hand) and all of them are mandatory for OEMs to implement. Even if your device is being upgraded from Android 10 to 11 then manufacturers have to implement all of the 25 modules in their system.

Google has detailed the 25 Project Mainline Modules that can be updated through Google Play System Update on Android 10 and 11 devices. These modules are delivered in the form of an APEX package that Google has specifically developed for Google Play System Update. Some of the modules are also delivered in the form of APK container.

Alright... after reading hundreds of comments and not getting any straight forward satisfactory answer, I decided to update to android 11 anyways. I had android 10 global beta version installed on my OnePlus 7T Pro for some reason when I purchased it. I went to OnePlus global website and directly downloaded the zip file and installed the global version of android 11. After the installation, I got prompted to update to the version which was released few days ago, so I went ahead and installed that update too. So far I haven't noticed any issues. Phone is working as smooth as it was when I had android 10.
Btw, whenever I get any android phone, I always activate the developer options and then set the animation scale to .5x
If you're experiencing lag, you may try doing this.
    Thanks!

Yo bro, thanks for being my side. With the new update, 7T is running very smooth as OS 10, infact more smoother than OS 10. Heating was literally low, where I can play bgmi without over heating for hours. Phone was heating while playing bgmi on OS 10. But here even if I play bgmi with charging kept, I don't feel heavy heating. Best update of OOS 11 ever.

Has aod feature arrived for 7 series. Just now saw the changelog for 6 series and aod is listed for it. I'm wondering why it cannot be given for 7 series.

No... Not smooth at all. No os can beat the smoothness of OOS10 except stock Android. And yes to the some extent, the basic issues are solved but they are too slow. They have not solved majority of issues till now. Users are not complaining because they fed up with this and has got that OnePlus will not listen to there old customers anymore.
There is still some flaws such as micro lag in animation, infact boot animation is also laggy, sluggish, and rotates 12 circles instead of 4. I confidently can say that they will not fix all such issues anytime soon. Because it is not OnePlus it has become another chinese company after merge with Oppo who will copy design and features from another OEM and brands like Oppo do always. You can observe the OOS11 UI is nothing but cheap version of One UI. I chose OnePlus over other chinese brand because of its good combination and optimization of software and hardware. But it's my bad luck, I wasted my precious money.
