Check up what Virustotal is. https://www.virustotal.com
Sending files to Virustotal is not using an Antivirus.

I don't have an Antivirus installed. If I did it would be to prevent spreading/sending files to devices where it could be a problem. It would be to use a extra browser security level (basically often some kind of filter that blocks known phishing and scam sites and such). It would be to get privacy advice info about installed apps permissions and trackers.. It would be for the included VPN. Well... You know... The other stuff they offer.

An Antivirus on a phone is more than just scanning the apk when you install something. Scanning the files is mostly the smaller part of the product.

"Not needing"... Well... Depends. Does the user click and download stuff on a whim? Does the user download stuff from outside Play Store (and even hrm..."free"... apps). Pushing that install button on Play Store is that really bullet proof and completely harmless?

I rely on using well known products and apps. Use a secure browser with additional add-on if they improve security and block invasive tracking.
I configured the phone to automatically jump on my own VPN running on my router when leaving my wifi. My router has expanded firewall and security with Asus AiProtect and Skynet.

That and some common sense on top of that.

And BTW... I don't have a battery consumption problem. 5h20m SoT and 41% battery left right now. My peaks can be as far as up to 11h.
Some activities simply drain more than others. Depending on what stuff I use and what networks I have available I get differnt results.
I also use a lot of beta software. Results may vary due to that too.
A bad day at work with work related tasks with shitty wifi and bad mobile signal around 6h. A good day at home and outside mostly just reading and typing I get results in the 11h region.

It is still an additional app eating up your power.
    Don't complain.

Who said anything about complaining? I just informed that the batterystats I showed was from a day that might not be that very optimal since I used some more demanding stuff earlier.
Everything you do on the phone has a cost in terms of battery life.
At the end of the day it was a rather good day anyway. 5h20m and 41% left is rather good despite some extra draining activity earlier today.

A screen is an additional battery drainer too... Better not use the screen so much eh? 😉

Hi! I'm facing some issues with the Bluetooth connectivity, the volume isn't working properly, it goes all the way up or all the way down, this is totally annoying and making my Oneplus experience so miserable. Any tips to fix it or I have to wait for a software update that eventually will fix that?
