There is no such thing as "battery backup". There's "backup battery", but that's like an external battery, for example a power bank.
And I understood it, however if you play games or you continuously use the network it will use more battery, naturally. Similarly, if you run faster you'll get hungry faster.

Is it just me or do battery graphs like this get infuriating?

So you buy a phone to use it only for calling?

You are using a pro model and I am using a different model. So it will be better if you don't provide your opinion. SOT doesn't last for 3 hrs and you provide a solution to uninstall games and social media apps. Bro then for what purpose I'll buy a phone when I'll don't do anything with it? Can't you check the battery consumption by the system and android OS . It's clearly unoptimised. This wasn't the case in the previous builds.

Why do you not charge your phone fully? That might be a contributing factor.

I think you are a new kid in this forum.

If you have ever read previous posts you will know that problems are faced by certain individuals not all, but majority are facing various issues small or big in the A11 updates.

If you are getting frustrated by other users problems rather than providing a solution, then ignore the posts and continue scrolling.

You can't deduct anything from such ECG like battery graph. You need to fully charge and then discharge it to single digit battery percentage. Otherwise the % of usage simply gets added on. (Android system 56%).It's not depicting the original battery life. And Facebook apps like instagram, whatsapp etc drain a lot of battery. Also if you play games, definitely the battery consumption will be higher too. May be, those aren't yet optimised completely for android 11, hence more battery drain in oos11.
And the term "battery backup" on a smartphone was introduced by some dumb YouTubers. No smartphone on earth has a backup energy source. Please avoid using it and following videos of such ignorant youtubers.

Actually this is after 2 weeks usage. I already charged some 7 to 8 full charge cycles for a week and then receiving around 2.5 hrs SOT. Using this build almost 2 weeks now so didn't charge it to full cycle anymore.
Battery graph ss I provided only to have an idea about the battery drain curve which used to be better in the previous builds.

That isn't a "curve", that's exactly what I meant. Doesn't depict anything from that ECG

I'm not new here, I'm around for a while. And yeah, if you use the phone continuously that will drain the battery, especially if you play games on the device. That's how things work.
I'm also on A11 and the phone keeps up for 2 days. But I take the phone off, it isn't always in my hands.

Obviously no. But if the main problem is battery consumption and it's clear the user plays hours long, guess what may drains the battery?
