Then be patient and wait. You can also try rebooting your device. This sometimes trigger the detection of any updates available.

No. It should always be upside down. Also make sure the cloth of your pocket is not so thin. If it is your skin inside that pocket will trigger double tapping your screen because of the friction. Especially when sweaty even for a bit.

I suggest not to update the phone. Android phones are best when you use the pre installed version. I have read many negative feedback from users regarding oxygen os 11. They make ur phone slower, hotter, drain your battery faster and finally make you buy the new oneplus.
If you want to install, it is a gamble. Your phone may be better or be worst or the same. There is no guarantee your phone will work properly after the update. Incase the update is worse, will oneplus giv you a new phone or what else will they do? They only ignore you.

How would you know if better or worse if you don't try? Just like me, many are also having a good experience with the update. Better not decide for anyone.

Besides, it's an update. Even Apple will ignore you if you are just complaining about the update and not a factory defect. It's always different for all users. We all use our devices differently.
