After this update photos are not showing in gallery app.
And in previous updates after Android 11 gallery app refreshes photos everytime you open gallery.

I feel embarrassed to have owned a OP5, OPX and OP8 Pro after seeing the state of these updates ever since I got the phone. OnePlus has gone completely down hill.

Firstly, how can you have the audacity to sell a £800 phone and even when the updates come, don't bother to even update it to the latest security patch - it's simply an insult. In order for this company to get back again it needs to restructure from the bottom up and get far more consistent developers on the team with a beta channel that truly tracks and checks what users report back and fix every documented issue and stop focussing on putting out a ridiculous number of phones - you don't have the infrastructure to support these devices effectively.

How is it possible to break something every single update? The single best thing you have implemented thus far since getting the phone - the auto brightness on the AOD which was responsive to ambient brightness of the room which took the screen down to a very low brightness level is now completely gone - why!?

Finally, even you know that the screens were messed up but don't want to admit it, fine. At the very least, learn how to botch the fix in a way that is consistent. I don't want to open Spotify Album art or a Discord Picture to be greeted with 80% blue Screen overlay.

This will be my last OnePlus - What made it back in the day was the great hardware and software. One half of that is now cascading away. I can't go with worrying about what will work and what will break each update.

Not forgotten. 8 series is scheduled for January. December was never intended for it. And for January you have to keep in mind the actual build date of the update.

5-6 hours of SOT with the latest update on 8 Pro. Embarrassing. Got twice as much on my iPhone 11 Pro with less battery capacity.

Tap to wake isn't fixed. Doesn't work 30% of the time.

Messed up colors and green tint at low brightness in 60hz apps. Grey becomes green. In Android 10 this wasn't an issue.

    Camera is also crap.

    So unsatisfied with my purchase.

    This is personal choice.
I, for example, every time install full update from oxygen updater, or from
    xda developers.
After update I do factory reset from recovery.

Honestly speaking, try a fresh install, format and wipe the data, but before that, try a simple cache wipe from recovery, instructions are on the internet
